The Holidays are finally in the rear view and now it is time to deal with the really important issue, like "How am I going to make some awesome deer sausage, so that I don't have to listen to Kenny talk about how great his sausage turned out again this year?"

We'll make great venison sausages and learn something about the art of sausage-making! Each participant will bring 7 pounds of their own venison.  With it, we'll produce great sausage from our tried and true recipes using our professional grade equipment, our ingredients and seasonings and a few tricks of the trade.  Then we will wrap it for you to take home for your freezer.

Chef, butcher and farmer, John Hogeland will lead you in creating a great venison sausage that will annihilate the competition, running the table, leaving you the top sausage dog!

The class will last about 3 hours (including time to eat!) and will consist entirely of hands-on instruction.  We will cover all the basics and give some best-kept secrets to producing sausage so good that your friends will line up at the grill at your next cook out.

You'll also learn about our farming practices and why it is important to the wildlife that sustain us.

And of course, we will eat sausage, talk about how to use them in your recipes, and send you along with some tricks on how to cook them at home!
