Homemade pasta is just about the most satisfying food anyone can make. But even though it is a simple recipe, it can be intimidating without a guide to lead you through the process.
In this class, you will learn to make your own dough and roll it out into pappardelle (wide, flat spaghetti) to take home. We will make ravioli too during the class, and then sit down to enjoy it together.
Your guide for the day--chef and farmer John Hogeland--has made a lot of different kinds of pasta in his restaurant days. In this class, he will pass along his knowledge so that your pasta-making skills shine.
Pasta Making: Pappardelle to Ravioli--Sat 5/10/25
For the class, we will meet in our state of the art, old time barn kitchen and work together to create some great laminated egg pasta dough. With that finished, we will create delicious raviolis for our dinner and some fetuccini to take home.
After all that work, we reward ourselves with the fruits of our labor and enjoy dinner and converastion together with our fellow "pastai" (Italian for pasta makers).
